Job summary

Moody's Investors Service is seeking a lead analyst for the U.S. Consumer ABS New Ratings Team. You will analyze new transactions, model cash flows, and assess legal and credit risks to inform rating recommendations.

You will present at rating committees, engage with market participants, and contribute to thought leadership through in-depth research and innovative analytical approaches.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in quantitative field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience evaluating U.S. Consumer ABS transactions and credit risk.
• Proven ability to develop independent opinions and defend views clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of new U.S. Consumer ABS transactions with publishable research.
• Model cash flows, review legal docs, and formulate rating opinions.
• Lead rating committees and present findings on credit risks.
• Engage with arrangers, issuers, investors, and legal experts.
• Represent team in meetings and conferences, and publish research.
• Undertake special projects using data analytics and AI.
