The role involves modeling cash flows, reviewing legal documents, and forming rating recommendations, while leading committees and engaging with market participants. A master’s in a quantitative field or seven+ years as credit analyst is required.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in economics, statistics, applied mathematics, financial engineering, or related field with relevant work experience, or a bachelor’s with seven+ years as a credit analyst.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to develop independent opinions and defend views clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of new U.S. Consumer ABS transactions and produce high-quality, publishable research.
• Act as lead analyst for new U.S. consumer ABS transactions; model cash flows and review documents.
• Lead rating committees and present analyses of legal and credit risks; provide rating recommendations.
• Engage with arrangers, issuers, investors, and external legal experts on credit analysis.
• Represent the team in reviews and meetings; contribute to industry conferences.
• Write insightful research and reports on credit issues; publishables.
• Undertake digital enablement initiatives applying data analytics and Generative AI.
