Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Credit, Collections, Accounts Receivable, or Credit Analysis.
• Strong understanding of commercial credit, risk assessment, and receivables management.
• Experience analyzing customer financial information and making credit recommendations.
• Familiarity with D&B and other commercial credit reporting tools.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient with Excel and financial systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze customer creditworthiness for new and existing accounts.
• Investigate customer financial information and recommend appropriate credit limits.
• Monitor, update, and maintain customer credit limits based on risk and market conditions.
• Coordinate credit approvals and ensure customer limits are managed appropriately.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect past-due balances.
• Analyze aging reports and identify collection risks.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, and other departments to resolve credit-related issues.
• Improve customer communication and help resolve payment concerns.
• Utilize D&B and other commercial credit resources to evaluate customer risk.
• Provide credit recommendations and account updates to internal stakeholders.
• Manage collection agency relationships when necessary.
• Assist with bankruptcy claims, legal documentation, and collection-related matters.
• Maintain accurate customer credit files and supporting documentation.
• Participate in special projects and additional duties as assigned.
