The role emphasizes timely analysis of the largest exposures, ongoing covenant monitoring, and strong collaboration with relationship managers to ensure sound lending decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with accounting coursework through at least the intermediate level.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of commercial banking experience in the credit analysis department.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, comprehensive credit analysis to support loan production and risk management.
• Evaluate financial statements and data to determine risk and document findings.
• Complete ratio, trend and cash flow analyses for meaningful reports.
• Ensure credit files are complete and collect missing documentation for approvals.
• Research borrowers, guarantors, and industry data for credit worthiness concerns.
• Promote consistent credit culture and interpret policy for loan structures.
• Assist in training and coaching less experienced analysts.
• Provide credit analyses of existing exposures and monitor financial covenants.
• Review real estate appraisals and related evaluations on time.
• Adhere to deadlines and stay current with banking and market risk issues.
