Job summary

Leprino Foods is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst in Denver to manage credit risk and accounts receivable for major customers. You will analyze financial statements, assess credit exposure, and interact with customers and internal teams to protect cash flow.

The role demands five years of credit analysis experience, strong financial statement skills, and proficiency in Excel. Domestic and international credit assessments are required, with a focus on collection and deduction resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Five years of progressive experience in commercial credit analysis, corporate credit, credit underwriting, or related fields.
• Experience independently analyzing and spreading business financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, including evaluating cash flow, liquidity, leverage, net worth, and trends.
• Experience evaluating businesses and developing credit or risk recommendations for management review.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain financial and credit matters clearly to customers and leaders.
• Strong Excel skills with PivotTables and financial data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and spread business financial statements to evaluate liquidity and creditworthiness.
• Evaluate domestic and international customers and set credit limits and terms.
• Prepare clear credit analyses and recommendations for management review.
• Support a portfolio of approximately 100 customers with ongoing oversight.
• Monitor accounts receivable and identify past-due balances and risks.
• Lead and support collections on past-due accounts with internal teams.
• Investigate complex deductions and disputes such as pricing, freight, rebates, and chargebacks.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain to resolve discrepancies.
• Serve as senior resource on complex credit and deduction matters for leadership.
• Analyze portfolio and trends to strengthen credit controls and reporting.
