Job summary

Navistar, Inc. is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to support financing for customers purchasing International trucks and buses.

You will underwrite credit for owner-operators and small- to mid-size fleets, exercising approval authority in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include daily dealer interactions, credit assessments, and completing credit memos, while ensuring compliance with risk policies and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; or Master's with no experience; or 3+ years accounting/finance exp.
• Credit underwriting experience preferred, especially in transportation/financing.
• Strong analytical and writing skills; proficient with Excel and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with dealers, finance managers, and internal sales teams regarding credit requests
• Perform credit assessment on existing and potential new customers
• Complete credit memo templates in a clean, accurate, and professional manner
• Make recommendations regarding credit decisions to NFC Credit Management
• Exercise credit approval authority consistent with NFC’s dual signature policy
• Communicate credit decisions to internal and external parties
• Ensure compliance with all company reporting policies, such as risk ratings and scorecards
• Minimi ze NFC’s risk exposure by adhering to internal credit policies and procedures with respect to lending decisions
• Collect and gather standard due diligence and KYC information
• Ensure loans and leases are properly documented and the liens are perfected
