Job summary

Navitas Credit LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Credit Analyst in Ponte Vedra, FL. You will evaluate credit risk for commercial equipment financing, review financials and tax returns, and help structure credit decisions within authority levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lending, equipment finance, leasing, banking, or credit underwriting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills.
• Previous equipment leasing/loan industry experience required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent mathematical and financial modeling skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Sound judgment in complex and non-standard scenarios.
• Effective communication skills, including delivering difficult decisions professionally.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and manage competing stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, Dun & Bradstreet reports and other third party information to determine the borrower’s creditworthiness.
• Support the flow side of the platform.
• Complete financial spreads and PD templates as required by Navitas’ credit policies.
• Routinely engage with sales associates, sales management, funding and booking teams, and customer service.
• Make credit decisions on transactions within assigned credit authority and recommend actions for local Credit Committee approval.
• Maintain existing broker relationships and assist with broker program development.
• Review funded transactions for auditing purposes.
