Job summary

eCapital, a leading fintech lender in the US and Canada, seeks a Senior Credit Analyst to join the Credit Department. You will evaluate new and existing debtor relationships, analyze financial statements, set credit limits, and prepare written credit proposals for executive review.

The role offers close collaboration with senior leadership, mentoring of junior analysts, and opportunities to influence risk strategies, policy development, and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field required.
• 5+ years of commercial credit analysis or risk management experience.
• US GAAP knowledge; IFRS/ASPE knowledge is a plus.
• Experience reviewing credit reports from Dun & Bradstreet, Moody's Analytics, etc.
• Experience in factoring, asset-based lending, or commercial finance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess the creditworthiness of current and prospective debtors in the US and Canada.
• Establish debtor credit limits within delegated authority and recommend higher limits to senior management.
• Review client AR portfolios to ensure alignment with credit criteria.
• Collaborate with Sales, Underwriting, Operations, and Leadership to evaluate opportunities and provide risk recommendations.
• Prepare written credit proposals for the Executive Credit Committee and mentor junior analysts.
