Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
• 7–9 years of banking experience and/or equivalent education.
• 4–6 years in a similar position and experience with financial spreads.

Responsibilities

• Reads, reviews, and understands financial statements including tax returns, balance sheets, and cash flows.
• Prepares financial spreads for commercial, real estate, non-profits, and individuals as borrowers.
• Analyzes credit worthiness by reviewing applications and projecting financials, cash flows, and ratios.
• Generates comprehensive analysis reports with charts and narrative.
• Evaluates credit quality and suggests risk ratings based on current data.
• Underwrites complex credit requests with limited guidance from the manager.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and credit policy updates.
• Assists Relationship Manager with quarterly monitoring reports.
• Completes covenant testing and performs portfolio reviews.
• Mentors junior analysts and supports loan policy questions.
