Job summary

City Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst to gather and analyze credit data on borrowers and assist in loan requests. You will support underwriting, ensure policy adherence, and help develop the credit team while maintaining strong client relationships.

Candidates should be capable of underwriting complex credits, coordinating training, and participating in hiring within the credit department, with a focus on compliance and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage all essential duties of the Credit Analyst position.
• Prepare loan memorandums detailing loan requests and credit quality.
• Senior Credit Analysts are expected to underwrite credit requests of all sizes and complexity.
• Participate in the credit review process and ensure underwriting, policy and compliance procedures are followed.
• Maintain relationships with Senior Management and lending staff; assist Lenders on client calls/meetings.
• Mentor and train credit analysts and coordinate internal group training.
• Participate in hiring and development of the credit department.
• Identify external training opportunities for the credit department.
• Ensure compliance with City Bank loan policy; engage in external training modules at least twice per year.

The Credit Analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing credit information on current and potential borrowers; determines the advisability of granting credit for diversified types of loans; assists loan officers in writing loan requests; promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.Essential DutiesProven ability to manage all essential duties of the City Bank Credit Analyst position.Prepare comprehensive loan memorandums detailing loan requests and credit quality for loan presentations and approval.
