About the Role
The Senior Creative Producer drives the ideation and production of content that helps each market connect meaningfully with its audience and moves Hudl's business forward. The role requires strategic thinking and close collaboration to develop compelling content that gets results, with strong writing and stewardship of a market's tonal direction as a critical underlying part of the job. The producer works alongside creative professionals in design, video, events and web, and in tandem with channel owners in social, lifecycle and paid media.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and publish a constant drumbeat of content across channels, from larger campaigns to regular social content, building the market's voice across blog posts, social media, video storytelling and product marketing.
- Own the creative strategy by initiating original concepts and shepherding them from brief to execution with the conviction of an associate creative director.
- Hold the creative vision across campaigns of varying length and complexity, making real-time calls when execution drifts from intent.
- Bring genuine fluency in the sport or sports served — its culture, vocabulary, community and unwritten rules — so that marketing does not feel like an outsider looking in.
- Own the creative content, bringing a sharp instinct for what makes a message land and acting as the editorial conscience of the market.
- Use AI fluently as a drafting tool while retaining clear creative judgment about the output.
- Lead across disciplines, collaborating with creative professionals in design, video, events and web and working in tandem with channel owners in social, lifecycle and paid media.
- Give useful briefs to design without over-directing, provide feedback on video pacing and tone without micromanaging the cut, and understand how format and placement shape web work.
- Surface problems early by running creative reviews that designers and video producers find valuable, giving specific and actionable feedback, and catching creative problems before they become production problems.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Creative leadership: has led creative work from concept through execution and can hold a vision across a long, multi-disciplinary campaign.
- Industry know-how and intuition: knows what hooks work and why, and how to build them into content; can help initiate, evaluate and optimise campaigns constantly.
- Cross-functional fluency: able to give useful, credible direction to design, video, web and events teams and to build trust with people native to fields they may not be.
- Editorial judgment: a sharp sense for what makes content land, with the ability to articulate why in a way a team can act on.
- Sport and audience curiosity: the intellectual curiosity and cultural respect to earn the trust of the audience being marketed to, whether the passion is already there or is built quickly.
- AI-forward mindset: uses emerging AI tools fluently as part of the creative process while retaining clear judgment about the output.
