Job summary

Capital One in Richmond, VA seeks an innovative creative leader to drive brand-building and performance marketing for Retail Bank and Café teams. You will lead campaigns across email, web, direct mail, paid media, video and out-of-home, translating insights into breakthrough creative.

As a champion of evidence-based marketing, you will manage a diverse team, coach talent, collaborate with strategists and business clients, stay ahead of industry trends, and influence stakeholders to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience is required.
• At least 3 years of experience leading creative teams.
• At least 5 years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team to develop strategically-grounded, insight-driven creative.
• Manage creative talent including Art Directors, Graphic Designers and Copywriters.
• Empower and inspire full-time associates through coaching and career development.
• Collaborate with marketing strategists and internal clients to understand customer needs and influence strategy.
• Translate business intent into creative strategies and executions that market products effectively.
• Interpret market research and test results to focus targeted marketing messages.
• Build and maintain relationships with partner groups to address obstacles and position Brand Creative as a strategic partner.
• Present and influence with a convincing style to increase buy-in and opportunities.
