Job summary

Capital One is seeking an experienced Manager, Creative Art Director to lead the Retail Bank creative team. You will guide design across digital channels, develop design systems, and inspire a team of art directors, designers, and copywriters to deliver strategically grounded work that elevates the brand.

The role requires strong leadership, a customer-focused marketing background, and a portfolio demonstrating elevated, evidence-based design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• At least 3 years of experience leading creative teams.
• At least 3 years designing for digital channels, including social media.
• At least 5 years of experience as an art director using design tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.

Responsibilities

• Deliver design for digital channels (social, display, email, web, SEM) with high creative standards.
• Develop design systems and libraries aligned to brand standards.
• Lead teams of art directors, designers and copywriters to develop strategically grounded, insight-driven creative.
• Translate business intent into creative strategies and executions across products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address obstacles and position Brand Creative as a strategic partner.
• Present and influence stakeholders to secure buy-in and create opportunities.
