Job summary

Capital One is seeking an experienced Manager, Creative Art Director to lead and elevate our Retail Bank creative work across digital channels. You will partner with creative directors and lead teams to deliver strategically grounded, customer‑focused campaigns with brand‑consistent design systems.

You will manage a mix of associates, contractors, and agencies, driving design excellence while mentoring others. A strong portfolio and leadership background are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience.
• At least 3 years of experience leading creative teams.
• At least 3 years of experience designing for digital channels, including social media.
• At least 5 years of experience as an art director leveraging design tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.

Responsibilities

• Deliver design for a range of digital channels across paid social, display, email, web and SEM.
• Develop design systems and AI-tool integration aligned to brand standards.
• Lead teams of art directors, designers and copywriters to create insight‑driven creative.
• Translate business intent into creative strategies and executions for our products.
• Understand audience and use market research/test results to optimize creative.
