Qualifications

• 7-10 years of commercial underwriting/credit analysis experience.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced credit and credit quality skills including accounting, financial statement spreading, and cash flow analysis.
• Demonstrated time management skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Advanced knowledge of credit policies, procedures, and practices.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Underwrites and prepares credit presentations for complex CRE loans.
• Assists RMs in monitoring a large CRE loan portfolio including construction, bridge, and permanent loans.
• Collaborates with RMs to manage and deepen CRE relationships with developers and investors.
• Analyzes appraisal and market data to assess market risk.
• Underwrites sponsors’ contingent debt and cash-flow to assess obligations.
• Presents conclusions supporting credit recommendations with documented facts and sound judgement.
• Ensures accurate risk rating and policy compliance in underwriting.
