Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager to steward credit analysis and portfolio risk across CRE assets in New York and other locations.

You will underwrite originations, analyze financial statements, and prepare comprehensive credit narratives for approval committees. Responsibilities include supporting transactions, monitoring covenants, and collaborating with Credit, Relationship Managers, and risk partners to ensure timely and accurate credit decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 5+ years of commercial lending experience preferred.
• Strong CRE underwriting across multiple property types.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new originations and portfolio exposures for CRE assets.
• Analyze borrower financials, cash flows, collateral, sponsor strength and market conditions.
• Prepare clear credit analyses and supporting documentation.
