Job summary

Provident Bank in New Jersey is seeking a CRE Portfolio Manager to handle day-to-day oversight of assigned commercial real estate loans. You will monitor maturities, covenant compliance, financial statements, and market data, and prepare annual reviews and loan extensions.

Responsibilities include building detailed exposure charts, ordering appraisals and environmental reports, and supporting multiple lenders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics required.
Five to seven years’ work experience in all facets of commercial real estate within financial industry, with banking concentration.
Strong financial analysis skills and ability to manage a CRE portfolio.
Proficiency with Excel, Word and Argus; familiarity with discounted cash flow models.

Responsibilities

Monitor maturities and past dues.
Monitor covenant compliance of the CRE portfolio.
Monitor receipt, review and proper documentation of financials, loan approvals, loan documents, etc.
Prepare Annual Reviews to assess credit quality and covenant compliance.
Prepare short term extensions of matured loans.
Prepare detailed Semi-annual construction reviews.
Covenant compliance; perform property inspections.
Prepare detailed Excel Group Exposure Chart.
Request quotes/order appraisal and environmental reports.
