Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Seven to ten years of credit analysis experience with CRE Underwriters and Relationship Bankers.
• Completion of formal commercial credit training program.
• Experience with complex, high-dollar credits.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit requests with CRE Relationship Bankers to obtain necessary financial statements and project information.
• Analyze financial statements including footnotes.
• Prepare credit approval packages with clearly reasoned opinions on key credit considerations.
• Conduct company, industry, and market analyses to assess borrower credit quality.
• Review and approve all legal documents to ensure accuracy and completion.
• Underwrite extensions, modifications, and renewals, including updating borrower credit files.
• Monitor documentation process and credit status; manage risk ratings and exceptions.
