Oak Ridge Legal Search LLC is partnering with a nationally recognized Am Law 200 law firm to find an experienced Commercial Real Estate/Leasing Transactional Associate for its sophisticated Real Estate and Development practice. Open locations include Stamford, CT; Hartford, CT; New York City; Boston; or Washington, DC, with consideration for the West Palm Beach, FL area.

Qualifications

Five+ years of substantive commercial real estate transactional experience.
Significant experience in commercial leasing transactions.
Experience with acquisitions and dispositions and due diligence.
Experience with financing transactions.
Strong drafting and negotiating skills.
Excellent academic credentials and analytical abilities.
Strong organization and ability to manage multiple transactions.
Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.
JD and bar admission in the jurisdiction of the attorney's primary office location.

Responsibilities

Represent landlords, tenants, property owners, investors, buyers, and sellers in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions.
Draft, review, and negotiate leases and related documents.
Advise on lease negotiations, renewals, and related contractual obligations.
Represent acquisitions and dispositions with purchase and sale agreements and related documents.
Assist with commercial real estate financing transactions.
Coordinate transactional due diligence, including title, surveys, and zoning.
Review and negotiate complex real estate agreements and identify risks.
Coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, and other participants to close transactions.
Manage multiple transactions and deadlines with strong client communication.
