Flagstar Bank is a leading regional bank seeking a Senior CRE Credit Products Portfolio Manager to structure, negotiate, and manage highly complex commercial credit relationships in Troy, MI. You will shape credit strategy, provide market insights, and drive risk-aware deal structuring to support growth.
You will mentor junior professionals, influence underwriting standards, and collaborate with relationship managers and senior leadership to maintain portfolio health while ensuring regulatory
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or 12+ years equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in commercial credit analysis, underwriting, and portfolio management.
- Experience structuring and negotiating complex credit agreements.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- MBA or CFA preferred.
Responsabilités
- Lead structuring, analysis, and approval of complex credit transactions.
- Monitor portfolio risk and identify industry/economic impacts.
- Engage with RMs and senior leadership on negotiations and deal execution.
- Negotiate credit agreements with clients and counsel.
- Mentor junior credit professionals and promote risk best practices.
