Responsibilities

• Own transactions from sourcing to underwriting, credit approval, and closing with internal teams.

Leon Financial, LLC is seeking a senior-level Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Credit Originator to join its growing real estate credit platform, with a dedicated focus on the industrial and logistics sector. This role is designed for a proven, fully formed credit originator with the ability to independently source, structure, and close institutional real estate credit transactions within the industrial asset class.

Leon Financial operates a diversified real estate credit platform. This role narrows that mandate to industrial and logistics, where the successful candidate will bring deep sector expertise and established relationships with industrial sponsors, operators, and developers.

This is not a training or ramp-up role. The expectation is immediate contribution and consistent production.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate commercial real estate credit transactions within the industrial and logistics asset class.
• Source opportunities through established relationships with industrial sponsors and operators.
• Source opportunities through established relationships with developers and owners of industrial and logistics properties.
• Source opportunities through established relationships with brokers and capital markets intermediaries active in the industrial sector.
• Structure and execute senior secured loans within the industrial and logistics asset class.
• Structure and execute mezzanine debt within the industrial and logistics asset class.
• Structure and execute preferred equity within the industrial and logistics asset class.
• Structure and execute transitional and structured credit investments within the industrial and logistics asset class.
• Structure and execute recapitalizations and complex capital stacks within the industrial and logistics asset class.
• Own transactions end-to-end, from initial sourcing and structuring through underwriting, credit approval, and closing, in close partnership with internal investment, legal, and asset management teams.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline of institutional-quality industrial and logistics opportunities aligned with Leon Financial's risk-adjusted return objectives.
• Represent Leon Financial, LLC in the market with industrial sponsors, intermediaries, and industry participants.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10+ years of commercial real estate credit origination experience with a verifiable history of closed transactions in the industrial and logistics asset class.
• Demonstrated track record as a high-performing CRE credit originator, not an emerging producer.
• Depth of experience originating credit specifically within the industrial and logistics sector.
• Background originating credit at one or more of the following: private real estate credit funds, real estate debt platforms, or institutional or specialty CRE lenders.
• Strong credit judgment and comfort with underwriting industrial and logistics transactions across market cycles.
• Proven ability to operate autonomously with high accountability and minimal oversight.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
