Bisnow is recruiting a Corporate Controller for a private, value-add CRE owner/operator with a diversified Southern California portfolio. The role oversees corporate and property-level accounting across entities and interfaces with ownership and senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of CRE accounting and hands-on MRI experience, with strong Excel skills and intercompany know-how. This on-site role offers growth within a privately held organization and exposure to broad financial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Commercial real estate and property accounting experience.
• Hands-on MRI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting for corporate and property ownership entities.
• Prepare entity-level and corporate financial statements.
• Manage intercompany accounting, allocations, and eliminations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with cash management.
• Manage property-level accounting within MRI.
• Prepare CAM estimates, reconciliations, and tenant billings.
• Process management fee, G&A, and intercompany billings.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare lender and reserve reporting.
• Support acquisitions and dispositions.
• Assist with audits and tax preparation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support system oversight, including MRI and Avid.
