Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Controller to oversee corporate and property-level accounting across multiple entities in Southern California, with hands-on MRI software experience and direct exposure to ownership and senior leadership. The role entails full-cycle accounting, financial statements, intercompany allocations, CAM billing, and support for audits and tax.

A CPA-track preferred. Competitive salary range $100,000-$130,000 plus annual bonus, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Commercial real estate and property accounting experience.
• Hands-on MRI experience required.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with intercompany accounting.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting for corporate and property ownership entities.
• Prepare entity-level and corporate financial statements.
• Manage intercompany accounting, allocations, and eliminations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with cash management.
• Manage property-level accounting within MRI.
• Prepare CAM estimates, reconciliations, and tenant billings.
• Process management fee, G&A, and intercompany billings.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare lender and reserve reporting.
• Support acquisitions and dispositions.
• Assist with audits and tax preparation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support system oversight, including MRI and Avid.
