Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney in Chicago to join our team. The attorney will handle real estate transactions, provide legal guidance, and support clients through acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing matters.

The ideal candidate has a Juris Doctorate, is in good standing with the bar, and brings strong negotiation and due diligence skills. A fast path to partnership is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Must be a member in good standing with the state bar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate law.
• Proven experience with acquisitions, dispositions, mezzanine financing and leasing.
• Strong knowledge of real estate law, due diligence, and property rights.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on commercial real estate matters including acquisitions, dispositions, and mezzanine financing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale, lease, financing, and property management agreements.
• Conduct due diligence on property and corporate documents.
• Advise clients on regulatory issues related to real estate transactions.
• Work with attorneys, clients, and professionals to close transactions efficiently.
• Represent clients in real estate disputes and litigation.
