Qualifications

• Significant experience handling sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Experience advising on acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and financing matters.
• Ability to independently manage complex matters and client relationships.
• Excellent business judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with land use and zoning is a plus.
• Portable business relationships are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, financing documents, development agreements, and related transactional documents.
• Advise clients on due diligence, title matters, land use considerations, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Coordinate with lenders, consultants, government agencies, and other stakeholders throughout transactions.
• Structure and negotiate complex real estate investments and financing arrangements.
• Provide strategic legal counsel regarding acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and financing matters.
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships while supporting business development initiatives.
• Mentor and collaborate with junior attorneys and other members of the legal team.
