Job summary

Messer Construction Co. in Columbus, OH is seeking seasoned crane operators to lead complex commercial building projects. Ideal candidates will have NCCCO certification and a strong background in commercial construction with a focus on safety and quality control.

The role requires operating various cranes and related equipment, transporting materials, and adapting to different tasks as directed by supervision. Must be prepared for travel to Messer Regions and variable weather conditions.

Qualifications

• NCCCO certification (LAT, TLL, TWR) required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in all phases of commercial construction.
• Candidates must have transportation.
• Be willing to work within a 50 mile radius.
• Be able to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions.
• Willing to travel to other Messer Regions.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic, lattice boom or tower cranes.
• Operate other types of equipment (backhoes, excavators, skid steers, RTFs, etc.).
• Manual moving of formwork, lumber, resteel and material / accessories.
• Placing concrete from a truck, pump, bucket, buggy, conveyor, etc.
