Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes to lift, move, or place equipment and materials.
• Document and log daily crane inspections; perform routine maintenance checks.
• Perform routine crane cleaning and lubrication.
• Assist in calculating maximum crane capacity and oversee load weights to prevent overloads.
• Update daily activity logs and read/interpreting lift plans.
• Use radio and hand signals to communicate with crew and coordinate lifts.
• Collaborate with site managers, riggers, and other team members to coordinate lifting activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious NCCCO Certified Crane Operator to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of Lattice Boom Crawler cranes. You will be required to hoist, move, and position machinery, equipment, etc. at construction sites. Ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail, good coordination, and excellent judgement to handle the equipment safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate cranes to life, move, or place equipment and materials
• Conduct and log daily crane inspections and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
• Perform routine maintenance work such as cleaning and lubricating cranes
• Provide support in calculating maximum crane capacity and oversee load weights to prevent overloading.
• Update daily activity logs
• Read and interpret lift plans and follow directions closely to execute lifts with accuracy.
• Use radio and hand signals to communicate with crew
• Collaborate with site managers, riggers, and other team members to coordinate lifting activities.
