Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Clinical Site Engagement professional to lead interaction with investigative sites, aligning staff and investigators with trial goals while ensuring protocol adherence and patient safety.

You will monitor site performance, provide trial-related information, and train staff to strengthen AbbVie's position in clinical trials. This role emphasizes collaboration, risk management, and data integrity across sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinically related experience, with at least 6 months in clinical research monitoring of investigational trials.
• Familiar with risk-based monitoring approach, on-site and off-site monitoring.
• Knowledge of therapeutic area indications preferred with ability to apply scientific concepts to trial conduct.
• Advanced knowledge of ICH/GCP Guidelines and applicable policies.

Responsibilities

• Acts as primary point of contact for the investigative site.
• Provide contextual information on clinical trials and connect stakeholders to sites.
• Aligns and motivates site staff and PI with trial goals and patient treatment principles.
• Conducts site evaluations, training, and monitoring activities with protocol adherence and safety.
• Mentor and train less experienced CRAs and participate in task forces as needed.
• Monitor site performance with Central Monitoring and ensure data quality and timely reporting.
