Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. seeks a CPU Engineer to lead multi-core CPU design efforts with high performance and low power goals. You will work with cross-functional teams to verify designs and drive implementation from architecture to post-silicon validation.

The role emphasizes technical leadership in a large matrixed organization, collaborating with senior stakeholders and guiding critical CPU projects across Qualcomm Business Units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of hardware/software/related experience.
• Master’s degree and 7+ years of related experience.
• PhD and 6+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and verify high performance CPU designs with emphasis on power, performance and area.
• Identify and solve highly complex problems to ensure design completeness and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, specifications, and trade-offs.
• Evaluate design processes from architecture through post-silicon validation to meet customer/standards.
• Write technical documentation for CPU designs and verification plans.
