Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation seeks a Senior Developer Technology Engineer focused on CPU performance to accelerate large-scale applications on NVIDIA’s CPU platforms. You will collaborate with experts across hardware, software, and analytics to optimize modern CPU workloads.

You will publish optimization findings at blogs or conferences, influence future hardware/software direction, and contribute to high-performance computing across CPU/GPU ecosystems. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

  • Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related computationally focused science degree, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5+ years of relevant work or research experience.
  • Expert knowledge of modern CPU architectures (ARM, x86) and system/OS fundamentals.
  • In-depth expertise with CPU architecture fundamentals, especially memory subsystem (cache, DRAM, storage).
  • Hands-on experience with low-level parallel programming, vectorization, CPU intrinsics and concurrent data structures.
  • Proficiency in modern C/C++ with deep understanding of algorithms, concurrency, and optimization techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Research and develop techniques to accelerate large-scale applications running on NVIDIA’s family of advanced CPU platforms.
  • Collaborate with experts to analyze and optimize database and data analytics workloads for CPU performance.
  • Publish and present optimization techniques in developer blogs or relevant conferences.
  • Influence the design of next-generation hardware architectures, software, and programming models with cross-team collaboration.
