Job summary

NVIDIA’s HPC Compiler Team is seeking a Compiler Developer to help design and implement features for high‑performance CPUs and GPUs. You will collaborate with application teams to tackle challenging compilation problems and partner with colleagues on HPC optimizations.

You’ll interact with open source communities and contribute to cutting‑edge compiler technology. A Ph.D./Masters preferred, 6+ years in production compilers, and strong C/C++ fundamentals are expected; knowledge of EDG/LLVM,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, ECE or related (Ph.D. or Masters preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience developing production quality compilers or tools or equivalent
  • Proven understanding of compiler internals, front-ends, and optimizers
  • Knowledge of programming fundamentals, especially in C/C++, with a deep understanding of parallel computer architectures and optimizations
  • Experience with the EDG compiler front end or LLVM is a huge plus
  • Familiarity with C++, OpenMP, and OpenACC standards
  • Real passion for compiler development
  • Highly motivated with problem solving skills

NVIDIA’s HPC Compiler Team wants to hire a Compiler Developer to join the team building one of the world's most important optimizing compilers. Our GPUs are being used in many of the largest high performance computing projects around the world, solving real world problems. Our products are used to build and parallelize the most meaningful scientific applications in the world for weather modeling, climatology, fluid dynamics and defense. We support real science and scientists throughout the world.

Benefits and Compensation

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
