Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. invites a highly skilled CPU Engineer to lead innovative CPU design efforts with a focus on multi-core performance verification for mobile and portable devices.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to verify RTL vs. model behavior, develop test cases for new features, and apply expertise in Verilog, C/C++, and scripting to troubleshoot and optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of related work experience.
• MS degree with 3+ years of related work experience.
• PhD with 2+ years of related work experience.
• Experience in CPU architecture and RTL verification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in CPU architecture areas: fetch, decode, branch prediction, renaming, execute units, SIMD, load/store, MMU, caches, retire, etc.
• Verify performance features between RTL and model, and troubleshoot.
• Work with design and performance teams to develop test cases and validate new features.
