Job summary

Bowhead Family of Companies in Arlington, VA seeks a Senior Contractor Program Security Officer to manage day-to-day security activities for classified programs, ensuring full compliance with NISPOM and ICD requirements on-site. The role interfaces with government POCs and program offices to maintain secure operations.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 4+ years of industrial security experience, and strong communication skills for technical and executive audiences;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of Industrial Security experience on a contract of similar size and complexity.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment and interact with DoD and industry partners.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day security oversight in the facility or complex where classified work is conducted.
• Implement and execute all security requirements and government guidance.
• Coordinate program security efforts with government security POCs (GSSO, PSO, SSO, others).
• Conduct and document annual self-inspections and evaluate inspection documentation.
• Develop corrective action plans from inspection shortfalls and distribute to applicable entities.
