Job summary

PROVATOHR INC. Chantilly, VA is seeking a National Industrial Security Program (NISP) Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) at mid-level to join our on-site team supporting SCI programs in accredited SCIF environments.

The role interfaces with GPSOs and CORs/COTRs, ensuring compliance with NISPOM, ICDs, ICS, and related security directives. A Top Secret/SCI eligibility and 3–7 years CPSO experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for Top Secret/SCI access.
• Minimum 3–7 years of CPSO experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC).
• Proactive, security-focused with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support CPSO functions for NRO SCI programs within client SCIF environments, owning daily security tasks and addressing evolving requirements.
• Manage SCI access processing, indoctrinations, re-briefings, and debriefings; validate clearance eligibility.
• Maintain SCI access rosters and program tracking tools; prepare DD Form 254s and flow-down requirements.
• Perform SCIF training (IDS procedures, end-of-day inspections, escort procedures, OPSEC).
• Assist with annual inspections, ICD 705 compliance, and maintain knowledge of ICD 705 tech specs.
