Job summary

Aegis is hiring a Project Controls Engineer to deliver CPM scheduling and project control services for complex construction programs. The role collaborates with client managers, construction professionals, and stakeholders to develop, manage, and monitor schedules across the project life cycle.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in project controls, strong Primavera P6 proficiency, and experience with large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling within vertical construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or related field; can be waived with five+ years of direct vertical construction experience.
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6.
• Experience developing construction schedules for projects over $100M.
• Familiarity with contractual clauses as they apply to planning and scheduling.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to site locations within the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor construction CPM schedules.
• Review project documents to develop baseline schedules with milestones.
• Perform progress schedule updates and produce narratives.
• Provide schedule-based recommendations to align with execution goals.
• Conduct critical path analyses and identify schedule risks and corrective actions.
• Coordinate site walks for progress validation and monthly reporting.
• Review contractor progress and present findings to management.
• Develop program metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks; support cost/resource reporting.
• Identify and evaluate risks and impacts within project schedules.
