Job summary

Aegis is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer to provide scheduling support to our clients. You will develop, manage, and monitor CPM schedules throughout a project’s life cycle, collaborating with client project managers, construction professionals, and stakeholders.

The role requires seven+ years in project controls and CPM scheduling, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent vertical construction experience), and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or a related field (waived with five+ years of vertical construction experience).
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 and ability to interpret construction documents.
• Experience developing construction project schedules for projects over $100M.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; travel to site locations within the region may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor construction CPM schedules.
• Review project documents and specifications to develop baseline schedules with all required dates, activities, and milestones.
• Perform progress schedule updates with comprehensive reporting and narratives.
• Review project schedules and provide recommendations based on execution goals.
• Perform critical path analyses, identify schedule-related problems, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct site walks for progress validation and prepare monthly reporting packages for the project site team.
• Review contractor’s progress and present to management for decision-making.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to support the program.
• Cost and resource management and reporting.
• Identification and evaluation of risk and impacts within project schedules.
