Job summary

DaMar Staffing seeks a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) to act as a liaison between the medical group and the coding vendor. You will ensure compliant coding, accurate issue resolution, and alignment with payer requirements while supporting documentation integrity.

You will review records with providers and revenue cycle teams, apply CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS codes, and educate clinicians on best practices to optimize coding accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Active AAPC CPC certification is required.
• 3+ years of medical coding experience.
• Strong knowledge of CPT®, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS coding guidelines, E/M coding (including 2021+), CMS and major payer regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records to validate documentation completeness and apply correct codes.
• Educate providers on documentation best practices.
• Monitor vendor performance and liaise between the medical group and coding vendor.
• Support documentation integrity and resolve coding issues with clinical and revenue cycle teams.
