Haga Kommer, Ltd. in Elk River, MN is seeking an experienced Senior CPA to take greater client ownership and lead complex tax engagements. The role blends tax advisory work with hands-on client management in a collaborative, integrated firm.

You will work with clients directly, mentor teammates, and contribute to growth of the Elk River practice while benefiting from hybrid flexibility and a culture focused on competence, teamwork, and client service.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license.
• 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience preferred.
• Strong experience with individual and business taxation, including partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, individuals, and trusts/estates.
• Ability to prepare and review complex tax returns.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements and deadlines.
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax compliance and planning.
• Ability to research complex tax matters and communicate recommendations clearly.
• Strong client relationship skills and an advisory mindset.
• Interest in mentoring and supporting developing professionals.
• Nonprofit tax experience is a plus.

You'll work directly with clients, manage complex tax engagements, provide planning and advisory support, and play an important role in the continued growth of our Elk River practice.

What We're Looking For

• Active CPA license
• 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience preferred
