Job summary

Qualifications

• JD required with minimum of three years of litigation experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
• Georgia Bar licensure must be obtained and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Defend the County, its elected officials, and employees in civil litigation before federal/state appellate courts and tribunals.
• Provide legal advice to county departments and elected officials on governance and operations.
• Draft opinions, memoranda, and legal analyses; interpret laws, ordinances, and regulations.
• Represent clients in mediations, trials, hearings, and related proceedings.
