Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Irving, Texas seeks a Risk Management Country Sr. Analyst to oversee sovereign risk analysis, macroeconomic trends, and scenario-based risk evaluations for assigned countries or regions.

You will partner with Country Risk leadership and risk stakeholders to challenge assumptions, support country reviews, and contribute to governance and control activities, communicating insights through clear presentations.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in risk management, quantitative analysis, or related field within financial services.
• Ability to analyze macroeconomic indicators, financial market variables, and forecasting techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex quantitative concepts to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent review and challenge of scenario design and variable forecasting process.
• Review and challenge country sovereign rating and Watchlist proposals.
• Prepare detailed review reports with findings and recommended enhancements.
• Engage with 1st Line of Defense and stakeholders to facilitate transparent challenge processes.
• Monitor global and country developments and conduct relevant research as needed.
• Prepare presentations to convey analyses and viewpoints.
