Summary:
The Risk Management Country Sr. Analyst supports the oversight and execution of country risk management activities by conducting analysis of sovereign creditworthiness, macroeconomic and political developments, country ratings, Watchlist assessments, and scenario-based risk evaluations across assigned countries or regions.
Partners with Country Risk leadership, business, and Risk stakeholders to monitor emerging risks, challenge risk assumptions, support country reviews and stress testing exercises, and provide insights on the impact of macroeconomic developments on portfolio performance. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models, and country analysis within area of expertise, as well as assist the team with governance and control activities. Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate country analysis and build collaborative relationships across the 1st and 2nd Lines of Defense.
