Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG is seeking a Risk Management Country Sr. Analyst to support country risk oversight, analyzing sovereign creditworthiness, macroeconomic trends, and Watchlist assessments across assigned countries.

You will partner with Country Risk leadership, risk stakeholders, and first/second lines of defense to challenge assumptions, contribute to stress testing, and present clear insights on macro developments and portfolio impact.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in risk management or related field.
• Strong communication and ability to present quantitative concepts.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of macroeconomic indicators and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Review and challenge scenario design and forecasting processes.
• Assess country sovereign ratings and Watchlist proposals.
• Prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
• Engage with 1st Line of Defense and stakeholders.
• Monitor global and country developments and conduct research.
