Job summary

Parallax Advanced Research in Beavercreek, OH seeks a Senior Counterintelligence & Threat Protection specialist to support counterintelligence, insider threat, and technology protection across our organization and regional operations.

This HQ role leads the Insider Threat Program, assesses threats to DoD missions, sensitive technologies, and personnel, and coordinates with senior leadership to implement mitigations.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Approximately 7–10+ years of counterintelligence, investigative, or national security experience.
• Experience leading an Insider Threat Program within a DoD, federal, or cleared contractor environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess counterintelligence, insider threat, and technology protection risks across operations, personnel, facilities, programs, and technologies.
• Analyze foreign intelligence, technology transfer, insider threats, and supply-chain risks; recommend mitigations.
• Provide CI and technology protection support across multiple regions.
• Conduct inquiries, fact-finding, and threat assessments of potential concerns.
• Develop actionable recommendations for leadership based on threats and vulnerabilities.
• Protect sensitive technologies, program information, IP, and DoD capabilities throughout development and deployment.
• Coordinate with security, program, legal, and executive stakeholders on threats or incidents.
• Maintain awareness of evolving foreign intelligence threats and adversary methods.
