Job summary

Cascadia Health seeks a Counselor III for the Garlington Health Center in NE Portland. The role supports Integrated Team-Based Care, conducting behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, and providing individual/group counseling within a trauma-informed framework.

Salary starts in the mid-to-high $60k range with comprehensive benefits. This is a full-time, in-person position working Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Garlington Health Center.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral science from an accredited college/university.
• Competencies to become credentialed as QMHP per Oregon rules; MHACBO credentialing required.

Responsibilities

• Perform behavioral health assessments using DSM-5 criteria and develop treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling; conduct crisis assessments and interventions.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary ITBC team and community resources.
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care with hospitals and external partners.
• Document clinical records in EMR per policy and regulations.
