Job summary

Cascadia Health is seeking a Counselor III in Portland to deliver timely behavioral health assessments, develop care plans, and provide individual and group therapies within an integrated team-based care model.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed, person-centered approaches, coordination with hospitals, and collaboration with social services to support clients with complex mental health and substance use needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a master’s degree in a behavioral science field and be eligible for QMHP credential per Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR).
• Experience with DSM-5 diagnostic evaluations and integrated care approaches is preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and trauma-informed care values are expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling aligned with care plans.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and community resources to ensure continuity of care.
