Job summary

Cascadia Health is seeking a Counselor III for the Forensic Intensive Clinical Coordination program, based at the Mead building in SW Portland, OR, with some community duties. The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a salary of $72,253.11 to $76,865.01 per year.

The program serves individuals on probation or parole and emphasizes trauma‑informed care. The Counselor III provides evidence-based interventions, case management, and crisis response within a treatment team

Qualifications

• Must have a master’s degree in behavioral science.
• QMHP credentialing per Oregon rules (OAR).
• CADC or CADC-R eligibility within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health assessments and DSM-5 diagnoses.
• Develop and monitor person-centered treatment plans, including annual reviews.
• Provide individual and group counseling and crisis intervention.
• Coordinate with medical, housing, and social service providers to reduce care gaps.
• Advise on safety planning and crisis prevention, including community resources.
