Job summary

SEI is seeking a Senior Attorney to join its Asset Management Legal team in the United States, providing legal and regulatory support across wealth management, investment advisory, asset management, and distribution businesses.

The role advises platforms and programs, collaborates with business and compliance teams, handles complex regulatory issues, and supports strategic growth initiatives including Stratos and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Four to six years of relevant legal experience at a law firm and/or as in-house counsel at a financial services organization.
• Experience addressing legal and regulatory issues involving registered investment advisers and advisory businesses.
• Ability to analyze complex legal and regulatory issues and escalate appropriately.
• Excellent legal research, drafting, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational skills in a dynamic environment.
• Integrity, discretion and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Advise on investment advisory programs, platforms, and wealth management solutions.
• Support Advisers Act and related regulatory requirements with guidance.
• Collaborate with business teams on platform integration and distribution.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret advisory and platform agreements.
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting investment advisers and wealth managers.
• Support regulatory examinations, inquiries, audits, and remediation initiatives.
