Job summary

ModMed, headquartered in Boca Raton, FL, seeks an Associate General Counsel to lead complex legal matters across multiple business units. You will provide strategic, practical legal counsel on operational, commercial, product, technology, procurement, data use, and regulatory issues while partnering with cross-functional teams to enable growth and reduce risk.

Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating enterprise agreements, overseeing IP matters, and guiding data governance and privacy

Qualifications

Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and technology transactions.
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Ability to balance legal risk with practical business solutions.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary legal advisor to multiple business units and corporate functions.
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage SaaS, vendor, technology, licensing, and data use agreements.
Provide guidance on data governance, privacy, healthcare data, and regulatory matters.
Collaborate with Product, Procurement, Information Security, Finance, Operations, Sales, and Compliance to align legal risk with business goals.
Escalate high-risk issues to senior leadership as appropriate.
