Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong expertise in the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and related rules.
• 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney in retail advisory within financial services.
• Ability to influence, build credibility and collaborate with partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted legal partner supporting managed accounts, financial planning, and advisory solutions.
• Advise business partners on legal, regulatory, and strategic matters affecting advisory products and platforms.
• Support governance of advisory programs, disclosures, agreements, and client materials while mitigating risks.
• Partner with Compliance and Risk to promote governance and a culture of compliance.
