A leading energy company is seeking a Senior Counsel for Procurement to provide legal advice across various projects in renewables like wind, solar, and battery systems. Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel, this hybrid role demands strong expertise in legal matters, negotiation, and communication skills, along with a JD and at least 7 years of experience in a relevant field. The successful candidate can expect a salary range of $200,000 to $230,000 USD, plus the eligibility for bonuses and other perks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience at a major law firm or sophisticated in-house legal department.
• Significant experience advising on construction, procurement, and operation issues.
• Experience in renewable energy with aptitude for complex technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on matters related to engineering, procurement, construction, operations, and maintenance.
• Represent the company in major transactions and negotiations.
• Draft and negotiate various agreements.
